tattooing with care
my tattooing philosophy
Tattooing, to me, is a meaningful and deeply personal art form, one that lives not only on the skin, but in memory and experience.
I know how it is to get tattooed and feel the mixture of excitement and stress beforehand. That is the base of entire experience I have prepared for my clients. From start to finish your wellbeing is very important. You will be welcomed in cozy studio, followed by precise consultation and mindful, professional tattoo session with attention to the smallest details.
My background in movement, dance, and art education has shaped the way I understand the body: as something living, expressive, and constantly in motion. This perspective guides how each piece is designed and placed, allowing the tattoo to flow naturally with the body rather than sit on top of it.
I believe that your well-being and safety throughout the tattoo session is just as important as the final result. The way you feel during the process becomes part of the tattoo itself, which is why every session is approached with
patience, presence, and care.

Each design is created individually and never copied. When art is made to live on the body, it deserves to be original, thoughtful, and one of a kind.
We discuss the details of your custom piece prior to the session. I create a moodboard of inspirations and depending if we are going to freehand it or pre-design - entire drawing process happens in the studio.

Nature has always been the main one. Textures, shapes and way it keeps surprising us yet still feeling cohesive and rich.
I like everything flowy and put a lot of attention into making design play well with your individual body shape.

You are always welcomed into a calm, cozy studio, Aura Reykjavik, where we take the time needed to explore placement, scale, and details of your future tattoo, creating something unique, intentional, and true to you.
On their elopement day, Josh & Mare invited me to be part of something deeply personal. I brought my studio to their celebration and created tattoos as a lasting symbol of love, commitment, and shared memory.
Photography is a medium that allows me to capture the way I perceive the surroundings.
