To ensure the highest quality result and a comfortable experience, thoughtful preparation is essential:
Rest & Nutrition
Please arrive well-rested and nourished. A proper meal and good sleep will support your body throughout the session.
Hydration
Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin allows for a smoother tattooing process.
Skin Condition
Healthy, well-prepared skin is key:
Avoid sun exposure or tattooing on recently sunburned skin.
Moisturize the area regularly in the weeks prior to your session. This is especially important in Iceland’s dry climate, where skin tends to dehydrate easily.
Substances & Medication
Avoid excessive caffeine before your appointment, as it may increase sensitivity and restlessness.
Please refrain from taking pain-relieving medication unless medically necessary.
Numbing creams are not permitted.
-
Each tattoo is approached as a custom piece:
Designs are typically created on the day of your appointment following a detailed consultation.
You are encouraged to share references, ideas, and preferred placement in advance.
For full-day sessions, designs may be prepared beforehand due to their scale and complexity. In these cases, I will review your references in advance and remain in direct communication to ensure we arrive fully prepared, allowing us to focus on refining details and beginning the tattoo without delay.
-
Your comfort, safety, and the quality of the work remain the priority:
Please ensure you are available for the full scheduled time without interruptions.
Follow all guidance provided during the session. If anything feels unclear, you are always welcome to ask.
Numbing creams are not allowed; however, lidocaine spray may be used during the session if needed.
Each session is conducted with a focus on precision, flow, and long-term quality.
-
Proper aftercare is essential for healing and preserving the quality of your tattoo:
Always follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist.
Keep your tattoo clean by gently washing it with clean hands.
Dry the area using single-use paper towels.
Apply a very thin layer of recommended healing ointment to prevent excessive dryness and support proper healing.
Remove the second skin within 48 hours of your appointment.
Monitor the area closely, as the adhesive may occasionally cause irritation. If any irritation occurs, remove it immediately and continue with standard cleaning and ointment application.
Avoid excessive soaking for at least two weeks (no swimming pools, hot tubs, or long baths).
Avoid stretching the tattooed area and do not scratch or pick at any scabs. Allow the skin to heal naturally to ensure the best result.
Taking care of your tattoo during the healing process will help maintain clarity, longevity, and overall quality.
-
A complimentary touch-up session is available within two months of your appointment, if needed.
Please inform your artist within this timeframe so a suitable date can be arranged.
-
Tattooing minors 16-18 is allowed. They must be accompanied by a legal guardian and complete signed consent form on-site.
-
Each tattoo is created as a fully custom piece, with pricing determined individually following consultation.
The final investment reflects the scope of the work—considering placement, size, skin condition, and the overall complexity of the design, as well as the time required to execute it with precision, whether in black ink or color.
A minimum session fee of ISK 25,000 applies.
For larger projects, sessions are typically structured as:
Half Day — from ISK 75,000
Full Day — from ISK 150,000
These figures serve as a general guide. Final pricing is confirmed once the design and placement are fully refined, ensuring clarity and alignment before the session begins.
-
I also offer one-day art courses, covering both tattooing and painting. Each program is fully tailored to your individual needs, following a brief consultation to align goals and expectations. Courses are structured as full-day sessions, with a standard investment of ISK 140,000 for eight hours of hands-on guidance and personalized instruction. To arrange a course, please reach out via the booking form, and we will design a program suited specifically to you.
